Latest Milestone Reinforces Investment in Meeting Rigorous Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Compliance Requirements of Government Agencies
Arlington and Reston, VA—September 10, 2026—Claroty Public Sector LLC, the cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection company for U.S. government, today announced in partnership with Fortreum, a trusted cybersecurity assessment and advisory firm for blue-chip clients across federal, defense, and commercial sectors, the Claroty xDome for Government platform is now compliant with the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy. Achieving CJIS compliance demonstrates Claroty’s ability to meet the FBI’s stringent security requirements for protecting the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of criminal justice data.
Public safety and law enforcement agencies are increasingly burdened by the need to secure a growing number of connected and legacy public safety infrastructure assets, while reducing vendor and third-party risk when handling sensitive criminal justice data. Claroty Public Sector is highly specialized in securing everything from weapons platforms and traditional Building Management Systems (BMS) to operational technology (OT) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Now with the added layer of CJIS compliance, Claroty Public Sector enables public safety and law enforcement organizations to leverage the company’s purpose-built cybersecurity controls to identify, protect, and monitor their mission-critical control systems.
“We’re proud to achieve CJIS compliance as we continue to quickly scale our public sector business,” said Jen Sovada, General Manager for Claroty Public Sector. “We’re committed to meeting the government security standards that allow us to bring solutions to government agencies that will fundamentally shift their level of operational resilience and reduce their risk, not only in the wake of a more perilous threat lifecycle, but also a changing regulatory environment, including new Executive Orders and CISA guidance such as (BOD) 26-04.”
“It’s mission-critical that federal organizations like the FBI have access to technologies that can defend against nation-state actors, hacktivist groups, and other growing threats that seek to disrupt the systems and operations powering daily life,” said James Leach, co-founder and CEO of Fortreum. “We’re proud to have worked with Claroty Public Sector to achieve CJIS compliance and strengthen protection for public safety and law enforcement agencies. Together, we’re helping deliver meaningful risk reduction and greater resilience for the critically sensitive criminal justice systems these organizations rely on.”
